Management Consulting

Management Consulting is an intermediary step in developing a long term artist / manager relationship. A typical artist manager will provide management services to the artist on an  ongoing basis, for a percentage fee of all income derived by the artist. Under this arrangement,  the artist manager assumes all responsibilities for the “business” of running the artist’s career and making it profitable, while the artist focuses on their craft.

As a management consultant, GEM will provide most of the management services, for a retainer fee, without becoming totally immersed in the business operations of your project. You will still be fully in control of your internal operations, while having an experienced industry professional providing guidance and insight during crucial decision periods. In other words, we will provide you with all the advice and consult you need to place your career on a successful path.

Additionally, GEM will ensure that all of the decisions made together towards developing your career are executed. In essence, GEM will act in the capacity of a manager on your behalf, while you retain complete control of your career. As a consulting client, part of our business development plan will outline specific goals as well as provide you with an overall plan of action to achieve those goals. You will have access to insight and complete support from our entire staff.
