GEM Artists to Watch (Diamonds in the Rough)
GEM Artists to Watch is an image-and awareness-building program for a select group of artists on the brink of major careers in music. Each month, GEM distributes a “GEM Artists To Watch” e-newsletter to its media contacts, as well as to a list of industry professionals that includes many of the country’s most influential artistic administrators. Several artists from the program are profiled in each e-newsletter and their recent and upcoming activities are highlighted. The program is a prequel to GEM’s full-scale social media service in that it helps build the foundation of an artist’s image and generates awareness among key members of the music /entertainment and artistic community.
