Jerry Blair has been involved with top labels and artists that have defined popular culture and airwaves for over 25 years. Heading the West coast office of Chrysalis Records at the height of the 80’s, working with Huey Lewis, Pat Benetar, Billy Idol, Jethro Tull and Blondi, he went on to spend the next 11 years at Columbia Records Group, the dominant label in the business throughout the 90’s. He directed the campaigns that brought Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and Aerosmith’s greatest triumphs.

Continuing to push the limits of market crossover, Blair spearheaded the campaign for Ricky Martin, introducing him to an Anglo audience and making Martin a household name. This initiated the Latin crossover explosion, which included Mark Anthony, Shakira, and Jennifer Lopez. Re-launching her career, as her partner at Monarc Music, Jerry secured Mariah Carey’s worldwide distribution deal with Universal Music and set her on the path to capture her current success.
In 2003 Jerry launched the Fuerte Group, a multi-dimensional company that includes artist management, marketing and label divisions, which has demonstrated worldwide success to date. Positioned as a multi-cultured music-promotion and lifestyle- marketing company, an example of Fuerte’s current success is Grammy Nominated client Mika, who in 2007 was the number 1 selling new artist-selling more than 6 million units worldwide. Mika continues to enjoy number one status and multi- platinum success around the world. Jerry continues to find and develop top talent around the world and define the entertainment business.
